Guam is located in the North Pacific Ocean in a chain of islands called the Mariana Islands. Guam stands as the most developed of these islands and is a United States Territory.
This tropical Micronesian Island, which spans 30 miles long and 5 to 10 miles wide, is known for its topographical beauty, lushness and panoramic views. The coral reef provides a placid oasis for water sports including scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, fishing, canoeing, boating, parasailing, water skiing, swimming and stand-up boarding. Perched against its pristine beaches and mountainous terrain, the shades of aqua and azure blue of the surrounding Philippine Sea and Pacifc Ocean make this highest of mountains rising above the Mariana Trench a breath-taking sight to behold! |

Those who have re-located and have returned to Guam are seduced by its natural beauty, warm weather and hospitality. The Chamorro culture is evidenced in its attitude of welcome, sharing, kindness and celebration. Guam is where they say, "America's day begins", and come rain or shine, and rainbows galore, the sun shines on Guam 364 days a year...mmm...well, except when there is a typhoon...but that hasn't happened in many years.
Guam continues to incorporate all the amenities that the United States holds dear to modernization including franchises, shopping malls, the beautiful state of the art Won Pat International Airport, restaurants of many flavors, world renown major hotels, transportation and tourism services, and everything in between, including newly constructed executive homes, condominiums and villas. Many U.S. EPA standards have been adopted and are being incorporated into Guam's infrastructure upgrades. |
All branches of the the U.S. military are represented on Guam with bases located on opposite sides of the island. Millions of dollars have been and continue to be allocated for various projects to accommodate the 17,000 Marines plus their families and support staff being relocated to Guam. This adds a big boost to Guam's economy as compared to the recovering U.S. mainland economy.
